Craft activities offer a perfect way to get studentes engaged and focused. They allow for a quiet part of the lesson during which students are focused and provide a great way to help them internalize new vocabulary.

When doing crafts with children remember to:
- Give simple instructions in English and emostrate what you want them to do. Remind them to use as much English as possible during the activity.
- Go stage by stage and wait until everyone has completed a stage. If a kid finishes first, they can help the others so they won't get bored
- Encourage the not-so-artistic learnes to enjoy the process. Give lots of praise.
- Have a tidy up song for after every stage of the process so the things to pile up.
- Leave enough time for tidying up.

After the activity, there are some ideas to improve the experience:
- Use the finished products in class. For example, create a snakes and ladders game to play later or make them create a monster with plasticine to adopt as a pet later.
- Kids are often proud of their creations and like to take them home.
